Overview
Amazon S3 is a scalable object storage service that offers industry-leading durability and availability. CloudFeed's S3 integration enables direct extraction of SAP data to S3 buckets, supporting various file formats and partitioning strategies.
How it Works
CloudFeed authenticates with AWS using IAM roles or access keys
Data is extracted from SAP using optimized protocols
Content is transformed into chosen format (CSV, Parquet, JSON)
Files are streamed directly to configured S3 bucket
Optional partitioning is applied based on configuration
Success/failure status is logged and monitored
Direct streaming of SAP data to S3 buckets with configurable paths and prefixes
Support for various file formats including CSV, JSON
Automated partitioning based on date, time, or custom fields
Built-in encryption and hashing support for sensitive data
Incremental data load support with change data capture
Built-in compression options (GZIP, BZIP2)
